Description / Story:

A vessel sets out across the Black Sea, its sails rising slowly into a pale, restless sky. The air is thick with salt and sweetness—the last of what the crew could gather before departure: ripe fruits, figs wrapped carefully in their leaves, a quiet comfort against the unknown.

The journey begins gently. Wind fills the sails. Water stretches endlessly in every direction, shimmering under fading light.

Then night falls.

The sea turns still… unnaturally still. No wind, no sound—only darkness pressing in from every side.

By morning, there is nothing left.

The ship has vanished without a trace. No mast, no sail, no crew. Only scattered remains drift across the surface—splintered wood, broken barrels… and the fruit, untouched, floating as if time had abandoned it.

The sea keeps its secrets.

A contrast of brightness and depth—sweetness carried into silence, freshness lost to something vast and unknowable.
